The 20MW/40MWh new energy supporting hybrid system power station in Yongzhou, Hunan, which has been successfully put into operation, is running stably and reliably. The PCS system all adopts 1500V 2.5MW hybrid energy storage system and converter integrated machines, with a total of 8 sets.
In the clean and tidy park, the 2.5MW hybrid energy storage system, converter and booster integrated machines are arranged in an orderly manner, and they have been running safely and stably since their connection to the grid. Based on innovative and advanced technology integration design, the 1500V hybrid system solution has significant advantages in terms of safety, reliability, cost reduction and efficiency increase:
1. Lower LCOS
Using 1500V system integration design, it has higher energy density and power degree, realizes less equipment and area, more convenient transportation, installation, debugging and operation and maintenance, and greatly saves the initial investment cost. In addition, through the three-level topology design, the conversion efficiency is effectively improved and the transmission loss is reduced.
2. Higher security
Two sets of battery interface design are adopted, which can independently manage charge and discharge, and fully guarantee the safety of the energy storage power station system. At the same time, it is equipped with an intelligent forced air cooling heat dissipation design, which can operate at full load without derating under the condition of ambient temperature of 50 °C; plus IP65 high-level protection, it can easily adapt to complex application environments.
3. Stronger grid support
1500V hybrid energy storage has PQ, VF, SVG, VSG and black start technologies, and can actively provide weak grid support and fast power support on the grid side to help build a new power system.
After the project is put into operation, in addition to charging when electricity consumption is low and discharging at peak electricity consumption, the hybrid system station with the function of "all-rounder" also adds more energy to the stable power supply of the local power grid.
