On August 13, the 2MW/4.176MWh energy storage system project in Qiantang District, Hangzhou, Zhejiang was officially connected to the grid. The successful connection of the project marks a solid step in the technological breakthrough in the field of industrial and commercial energy storage where CRRC Zhuzhou is located, and has effectively promoted the green transformation of the local energy structure.
The project uses 16 CESS-M261 integrated energy storage cabinets, and the total area of the project is only 43m2. As the company's standard shelf product, CESS-M261 takes "safety" and "efficiency" as its core highlights.
In terms of safety design, the All in One design concept is adopted. A single cabinet integrates components such as battery PACK, PCS, BMS, cooling system and fire protection system, and strictly implements the safety zoning design concept.
In terms of energy density, the energy density per unit volume of the cabinet can reach 94.1kWh/m3, but the floor area is less than 1.2m2, which truly achieves smaller space and greater energy.
In addition, the project also uses CRRC Zhuzhou Institute's fully autonomous EMS system and cloud platform, relying on smart energy management technology to achieve peak shaving, demand control, load following, anti-backflow and other functions, which can effectively smooth out grid fluctuations, improve power quality, and maximize the utilization of energy assets.
The 2MW/4.176MWh energy storage system project in Qiantang District, Hangzhou is the first industrial and commercial energy storage project on the user side of Qiantang District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, which has been connected to the grid in accordance with the full process of the grid, and it is also the first indoor industrial and commercial energy storage project in Zhejiang Province. The successful grid connection of this project has not only successfully opened up new scenarios for the application of industrial and commercial energy storage in China, but also provided more possibilities for the site selection of subsequent energy storage projects.
