On January 11, the offshore photovoltaic project of China Power Construction Qingdao Jimo was installed at sea.
The offshore photovoltaic project of China Power Construction Qingdao Jimo is located in Aoshan Bay. It is my country's first "fishery integrated development offshore pile-based fixed photovoltaic project" and the largest fishery-photovoltaic complementary demonstration project in the open sea area. It is also the first offshore photovoltaic project in Qingdao.
The total investment of the project is 10.2 billion yuan. It is planned to build a 1.15 million kilowatt pile-based photovoltaic power generation project, and introduce new energy industry chain projects such as solar panels and solar energy system integration. The first phase is planned to build 600,000 kilowatts and the second phase is planned to build 550,000 kilowatts. The first phase of the project, which has been started, will set up 63 offshore photovoltaic sub-arrays, with a cable length of 50.55 kilometers and 164 base towers.
It is reported that the shipment of the first steel platform marks the full start of the offshore operation construction of the project. It is expected that the first batch of grid-connected power generation will be on March 30, 2025, and full capacity grid-connected power generation will be on August 30, 2025. After the completion of the first phase of the project, it is expected to generate about 1.07 billion kWh of green electricity per year, save about 327,000 tons of standard coal, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 871,000 tons.
The project deeply integrates the fishery and photovoltaic industries to achieve comprehensive utilization of marine resources and precision breeding. It can not only efficiently utilize marine resources, achieve dual use of one place, and achieve multiple goals at one stroke, but also expand my country's new ideas for the development of offshore new energy, greatly drive and promote the development of offshore photovoltaic power generation, optimize the power structure of the power grid, and increase energy supply.
