Recently, Xinjiang's first photovoltaic technology demonstration base invested and built by Datang Hami New Energy Co., Ltd. was officially put into operation, filling the gap in Xinjiang's photovoltaic industry.

A 1 million kilowatt "solar thermal + photovoltaic" integrated clean energy demonstration project was built in Shichengzi area of ​​Yizhou District, Hami City. In view of the current problem that there are many photovoltaic projects in various parts of Xinjiang, but the empirical research on related technologies is insufficient, a photovoltaic technology demonstration base with a total installed capacity of 40,000 kilowatts was built in this project to conduct empirical research on the "combination" of 36 technologies and equipment, and installed a large number of testing equipment, which can form data analysis reports in real time and realize the real-time data collection and analysis of all elements and processes of various photovoltaic equipment.

At present, the cost of electricity per kilowatt-hour in the photovoltaic field continues to decrease, the efficiency of photoelectric conversion continues to increase, and the forward-looking requirements for technology and equipment in the construction of photovoltaic projects are increasing. This demonstration base will make up for the insufficiency of the laboratory's inability to fully simulate the outdoor environment by conducting outdoor performance demonstration experiments on equipment, provide data support and industry guidance for the promotion and application of new technologies, new products, and new materials, and at the same time promote industry technological progress and industrial development by establishing a dynamic database of outdoor empirical applications of different products.
